CABARET STYLE SINGER
“They listen to Billy Joel’s Pianoman to ‘forget about life for a while.’
They listen to Loren sing to remember what it’s like to feel alive in soul for a while.”
To know my quality, listen to the songs below. What you'll hear is ...
-- me playing piano/ singing... in a promo medley from 2012
-- me singing and playing Starry Starry Night 15 years ago
-- me singing live in 2026 (I've aged a bit... been a rough few years... 🥴)
-- and after those links, I'm singing with the use of an application on my phone called SMULE. When you click on the links, what you’ll be clicking on is me singing with an instrumental backing track— (orchestra provided by the Smule application... with the exception of the songs, "Starry Starry Night" and "Sunrise Sunset" where I'm playing the piano). These backing tracks are for singers who want simply to sing and not be bothered with attempting to accompany themselves on an instrument. I used to think this kind of Kareoke thANg “cheesy,” now I consider this kind of thing invaluable as it helps with venting intense emotion.
